We will be launching an AWESOME student worship experience on January 15th! We will be meeting at the Derby 6th Grade Center Gym from 7-8:30pm on Sunday nights! So Start getting excited because January isn’t very far away!

Launch Team
From September 11th to January 15th we will be meeting as a launch team to work towards our goal of launching a rockin experience for students in January! All Students 6th through 12th grade, and leaders will participate in launch team meetings!
Launch Team will be meeting at the Derby Public Library located at 1600 E. Walnut Grove Derby, KS from 7-8:30pm!

Missions
We believe missions are an outward expression of God’s love to our community, nation, and world. Aviator Students is committed to help our Church family grow through outwardly focused mission opportunities. We offer mission opportunities for students locally, nationally, and in Ukraine.

Leaders
Aviator Students leaders are committed to bringing the love of Christ to students in our communities. These people are passionate about investing into the lives of students at Aviator Students events, student groups, and trips. An Aviator Students leader is living a life that Honors God, Builds Healthy Friendships, and Having a Blast!

What is your student learning at Aviator Students?

Aviator Students Curriculum 
The seven things every student will learn in the Aviator Student Ministry 
These are 7 systematic approaches to growing our students spiritually. Our hope is that by the time a student graduates these 7 things will carry with them. We will cover one of these points at every Aviator Students event or student group.

1. Authentic Faith
 Principle: God can be trusted: He will do all he has promised to do.
Critical question: Are your students trusting God with the critical areas of their Lives? 
Key Bible Verse: Proverbs 3:5-5

2. Spiritual Disciplines
 Principle: When you see as God sees, you will do as God says.
 Critical question: Are your students developing a consistent devotional and prayer life?
 Key Bible Verse: Romans 12:2

3. Moral Boundaries
 Principle: Purity paves the way to intimacy
 Critical question: Are your students establishing and maintaining godly moral boundaries?
 Key Bible Verse: 1 Thess 4:3-8

4. Healthy Friendship 
Principle: Your friendship determine the direction and quality of your life
 Critical question: Are your students establishing healthy friendships and avoiding unhealthy ones?
 Key Bible Verse: Proverbs 13:20

5. Wise Choices
 Principle: Walk wisely
 Critical question: Are your students making wise choices in every area of their lives? 
Key Bible Verse: Ephesians 5:15-17

6. Ultimate Authority 
Principle: Maximum freedom is under God’s authority 
Critical question: Are your students submitting to the authorities God has placed over them?
 Key Bible Verse: Romans 13:1-2

7. Others First
 Principle: When you make your self nothing you are really something 
Critical question: Are your students putting the needs of others ahead of their own? 
Key Bible Verse: Philippians 2:3-11

The Goals:
• In Aviator Students our top priority is to Honor God in everything!
• In Aviator Students our hope is that everything we do is producing healthy friendships. Pastor to students, volunteer to students, and also student to student.
• The product we are trying to produce is students in love with Christ
