Welcome to 1’s and 2’s!

Our 1’s and 2’s ministry is designed to meet the developmental and spiritual needs of our children while providing a safe and playful environment.

Each of our volunteers has completed an Aviator Kids New Crew Members orientation including age-level training, an understanding of our safety/security polices and a background check. This process is to provide your child with the best possible care in a secure child-friendly environment.

How do we check in our child?

You and your child will receive a check-in Ticket and Ticket Stub specific to your child at the Aviator Kids Ticket Counter. To ensure their security, your child will not be released without presentation of your corresponding Ticket Stub.

In the event we need to contact you during the worship experience, we will notify you by displaying your child’s Ticket number on the big screen in the auditorium. If your child cries, our caring Crew Members will immediately soothe your child. If your child cries for an extended period of ten minutes, we will notify you.

What to Bring?

Please label all personal items with your child’s first and last name before arriving at your child’s class.

  1. For the safety of our children, all children must be wearing shoes to enter our program.
  2.  A diaper or pull up for your child.
  3. A complete change of clothes if “potty training.”
  4. A sweater or jacket in cool weather. We often take “nature walks” outside.

What will my child do?

Our 1’s and 2’s ministry is organized into the following structure: Play Time/Learning Centers, Sing-a-Long, Bible Story and Verse, Craft and Snack.

What will my child eat?

Snacks are provided for your child. Our snack consists of “Goldfish” or “Animal Crackers” and water to drink. Please inform the leader if your child has an allergy. Please do not bring treats or drinks from home. We have a peanut-free Aviator Kids Ministry.

What is our well-child policy?

We operate a well-child ministry. For the protection of all the children in our ministry, we cannot accept a child with a runny nose, fresh cold (four days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness. We request that you not place your child in the program while they are at risk of exposing other children. Thank you in advance for helping us to keep our 1’s and 2’s area a healthy place!
